A trainer and coach by profession, Maurizio is at heart a human being, a passionate learner, and a lover of research.
A qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher who received his training at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Maurizio has worked in academia for almost a decade, earning a PhD in Management Engineering as well as Economics. Prior to this, Maurizio worked in management and administration in both the private and public sectors.
Maurizio is deeply motivated and committed to his own personal mindfulness practice, as well as to continuous learning. He has had the chance to practice with incredibly inspiring teachers, among which were the founders of MBSR, and he continues to find NVC and its deep connection to mindfulness an enriching exploration.
Nowadays, he enjoys multiple opportunities to support individuals, groups, and organizations through mindfulness interventions (MBI) and MBSR programs, as well as workshops and coaching for personal and professional development. Moreover, he is privileged to be able to accompany and coach Bachelor and Master students, as well as PhD candidates from a variety of different universities.
Maurizio is fluent in English, French, and Italian. He also speaks Spanish, Luxembourgish, and basic German.
