Most of us will do everything we can to avoid hurting people— but it still happens, especially in close relationships. When people come together, hurt and pain are inevitable, whether we want them or not.
Walking on eggshells to avoid causing pain has a painful side effect—it compromises your own honesty and presence. You want to care, and you want to be honest and real.
On a larger scale, so much pain is happening in the world. We may like to dream of a world where peace prevails, but first, we must start with where we are today.
Conflicts and pains show up on all levels:
- With your children
- With your spouse
- With your siblings
- With your parents
- With your colleagues
- With your manager
- Or pain between countries
Pain is there. The key is learning how to meet it and navigate it toward healing, cooperation, and, most importantly, restored trust. |
There is so much learning that happens when pain is met. It is a precious life-guiding force that teaches the art and delicacy of cooperation—how to be together.
When you avoid it, you risk creating actual human and emotional distance.
This course is about learning to slowly shift from "I’ll do everything I can to avoid stimulating pain" to "I have the skills to welcome hurt when it comes and engage with it."
Over six sessions, you will learn:
- How to navigate ‘healing dialogues’ when hurt or pain is present and move toward restoring trust
- The many skills that support such dialogue— empathy, honesty, and navigating conversations
- The dynamics of unpleasant feelings— especially guilt, hurt, and anger
- Owning your pains, healing your painful stories, and meeting reality as reality is
- And more!
Meet Your Trainer: Yoram Mosenzon
When Yoram first discovered NVC over 20 years ago, he was a dancer and choreographer. Eight years later, he decided to stop all his artistic activities and dedicate his time and energy to sharing NVC.
Yoram now teaches NVC to the general public as well as to teachers, universities, parents, businesses, and teams. He travels internationally, teaching in The Netherlands, France, Israel/Palestine, Belgium, Poland, the USA, and elsewhere. He is also one of four founders of the NVC (Giraffe) school in Amsterdam for children aged 0-21.
For Yoram, his biggest source of learning comes from the countless exchanges he has with people on a day-to-day basis. He says every conversation is a chance to refine and deepen his embodied NVC awareness and skills.
His dedication to living in NVC consciousness shows in the way he teaches.
“His teaching combines a pure authenticity and a solid knowledge. A true-ness. A freedom. A loving energy and exceptional care.” ~ Virginie O.
“He is an incredible role model but also a very skilled teacher. He is a leader without being directive. Always expressing with honesty and encouraging all others to do the same.” ~ Khawla S.
“Yoram to me is a living example of NVC. The dedication he puts into ‘putting what he preaches into practice, into reality’ is something I haven't seen yet elsewhere in my life with such precision and fullness!” ~ Erwin G.
