About Miki

Sunday, November 1, 2009 • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM PDT (1:00 AM GMT on 11/2)My Time Zone?

Fee: $30 USD: All registrants receive access to a recording of the course.

Advantages and challenges of co-leading; preparing for handling areas of challenge; building on strengths; feedback and connection.

Do you want to enjoy the companionship of leading with others and to increase the chances of having fun and mutual support?

Would you like to increase your capacity for using any experiences of co-leading to support your learning and growth?

Many NVC trainers choose to work with other trainers, while others prefer to work on their own. Some trainers experience joy and mutual enhancement while co-leading while others experience constriction, challenge, and even despair about NVC in their experiences of co-leading. How can we tell when co-leading will meet needs and when we might want to choose to work on our own?

This telecourse supports new and experienced NVC trainers in learning how to assess potential challenges, as well as put in place strategies for addressing them, so that more people can approach co-leading with ease and flexibility. The course includes theoretical understanding, experiential integration, and practical tools for strengthening your empathic presence and skills.

In this class you’ll learn skills and practices to:

  • Identify needs that would be met and unmet through shared leadership
  • Build shared leadership based on areas of strength
  • Make explicit agreements about areas of challenge
  • Create ongoing mechanisms for feedback and connection
